MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
MY WHY:
I got my first “real” camera when I was 13 years old,
but my love for capturing moments and creating through this medium started way sooner. I’m pretty sure it’s been a part of me since I was born.
My parents always had point and shoots and old school camcorders lying around. My mom loved to scrapbook, and documenting our lives was something always taught to me as one of the most important things. I have multiple family history books on my shelves, and am beyond grateful that it’s something my ancestors thought was crucial to pass on.
As you can imagine, preserving memories then became pretty much all that I am. I would play with my parents cameras, taking photos of my siblings on vacation or making silly videos of us all together. It became my main outlet along with journaling.
I’ve never stopped. I have genuinely never stopped taking photos of my loved ones and the world around me. Documenting people and places is my heart, and I’m so lucky I get to do it as a full time job. My why is just this: to help you preserve memories to pass down for generations.
My goal is always to deliver works of art that you feel excited to hang on your walls, in your scrapbooks, and frame them so that your kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and so on can know your story.
OTHER THINGS I LOVE:
I just truly love humans. I’m a people person. And I love this incredibly magical life and planet we’ve been blessed to live on. And there are few things that bring me more joy than being out in nature, spending time with my fiance & our friends, reading, walking through museums, a good cup of tea or coffee, baking, and making art. I’m easy to please really. Give me a good book, my hiking backpack, my trusty film camera, and good company? I’m golden.
I spend my summers roughing it out of my truck camper so I can see breathtaking new places and run into cool strangers that turn into friends. Summer of 2024 I went up and down the West Coast and it was the most incredible time of my life. I love to travel, and I’ll go wherever you take me.
At the risk of sounding incredibly cliche,
With friends getting ready to climb in Leavenworth, WA.
Hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim in a day w one of my closest friends. One of my favorite accomplishments

THE VALUE OF A VENDOR WHO SEES THEIR JOB AS MORE THAN JUST A JOB:
Because this IS more than just a job for me. Photography is truly how I see and interact with the world. Everything is cinematic, party of a story, for me. The colors, the composition, everything. I’m not “just taking photos” when I show up to a wedding, engagement session, etc. I’m helping you tell your story with the place you chose, with the colors you picked out, surrounded by the person/people you love. Your story is just as unique as the next person and it deserves to be preserved artfully and intentionally. I take photos of everything, not just when I’m at work. I make art out of everything, not when I’m just at work. And I can’t wait to tell your story too. xoxo.
